Bring safe drinking water to rural villages

In many rural villages, women and children walk up to four hours a day to collect water that is often unsafe to drink. This campaign funds deep boreholes, hand pumps and local maintenance training so each well keeps running for decades.

Every well is planned with a village water committee, who manage repairs and small user fees. That local ownership is why more than 95% of the wells we have built are still working today.

“Since the well opened, my daughters go to school every morning instead of walking to the river.”— Placeholder quote from a community member
